Crosby, Stills and Nash - Park City, Kansas Concert Review

Crosby, Stills & Nash are touring in support of their new DVD, 2012. And rightly so, as the band are playing, and singing, stronger than they have in years. In fact, David Crosby was fluent, sounded amazing and even provided comic relief when addressing the crowd. Graham Nash remains impressive on all levels and Stephen Stills, a touch gruff on vocals, plays the living hell out of his guitar.

Graham Nash must be a terrible poker player. He can't hide his emotions. Crosby, Stills & Nash have had their ups and downs personally and professionally over the years. When they're not feeling it onstage, it's obvious. But when they are, you can see it, hear it and feel it.

"I'm so happy to be here, my dimples are locked," a beaming Bonnie Raitt said during her set at the August 7th all-star concert benefiting MUSE (Musicians United for Safe Energy), the activist group Raitt, Jackson Browne, Graham Nash and John Hall created in 1979 to promote alternatives to nuclear power.
